Installation of the Novell applications is done via Gentoo's emerge system. Since the gentoo emerge system does not know about the Novell applications, you must first add the n4g overlay using layman. See the layman page for details.

• make sure you have ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=“x86 ~x86” in your /etc/make.conf
• many packages depends on packeges in testing
• You should add to your /etc/portage/novell.acc
