1. Start the Konqueror or Firefox or Mozilla Browser and check if the npnipp.so plugin is activated.
2. Surf to the site your NOC provided you for printer install.
3. Click on the printer you want to install and the iprint client will install it for you.
4. If nothing happens try another browser.
5. If you get the message “there is no driver present on the server!”, bug your NOC.

The Client works best with the Mozilla browser SeaMonkey

or you can use the comand line tool (no browser problems)

# iprntcmd --addprinter ipp://<host_address>/ipp/<printer_name>
